Town Crier Helps Customers Find You With "FIND it"! |
The Town Crier has just launched a new "FIND It" portion of their website. It's like a "local Google" where every business in Wilmington, Tewksbury, Reading, North Reading, Woburn, Winchester, Wakefield, Lynnfield, Stoneham, Melrose and Billerica is listed with name, address, phone # and type of business.
Upgrades are available. Visit www.HomeNewsHere.com and click "FIND it" in the upper right hand corner to check it out.
When you Google a business you get millions of answers. Somewhere in that list is the business you want, but WHERE? "FIND It" provides local businesses only for the towns listed above.
"We expect to be the "Go To" site for local people to connect to local businesses" says Stu Neilson, Managing Editor of the Town Crier. |

New Member Spotlight - MT Care Navigators |
|
Welcome back Teresa Burns (past Chamber President) and congratulations on your new business venture! Read on to learn more about MT Care Navigators.
The Wonder of You! Last weekend brought sunshine, smiles and love to the Rubin and Thompson Assisted Living with a surprise visitor.
Lilly, a therapy dog owned by Teresa Burns of MT Care Navigators, dropped in to see the residents at the small family-owned Assisted Living. Lilly was very comfortable cuddling up with Bunny, one of the residents there, while Bunny shared stories of her own animals and the memories the visit brought back to her. Although Bunny has some memory loss, she had no trouble recalling many warm and happy memories about her own animals. Bunny had a career as an animal trainer and worked at The Franklin Park Zoo. She shared stories about her lectures at the shark tank of the New England Aquarium and of her work as a snake handler. During her stories, Lilly sat with eyes on Bunny talking of all her past experiences with different animals and even her cat Brandy didn't seem to mind the presence of Lilly -- the canine in her room! The therapy visit is just one of the added benefits owner Eric Rubin offers his residents in the small unique Alzheimer's Assisted Living. Lilly enjoyed the visit very much, slinking her way through the living room, dining room and bedrooms of all the residents. On the way out another resident, Anna, a Holocaust survivor, met Teresa and Lilly at the door to thank them for coming to her home to visit. She promised tea and coffee next time.
Teresa Burns one of the owners of MT Care Navigators -- a FREE Care Referral Service brings Lilly to area facilities to meet and greet residents. Having personally visited each facility and spending time with residents and staff, she is able to refer families to different locations and give a detailed and personal stamp to each location. MT Care Navigators helps navigate families through the mountain of resources available from realtors to senior housing options, support groups, home care services, VNA services , elder law issues, etc. etc. They pride themselves on offering a personal, individual attention to their clients' needs and contract with only top notch providers in the industry. MT Care Navigators would like to invite chamber members to their first Preferred Provider networking meeting Oct 22, 2009 at Our Glass Wine Co. on Rt 1 Saugus. From 5-7pm. For more information call Teresa Burns of MT Care Navigators 1 888 682 2730 or visit them on the web at www.mtcarenavigators.com it's FREE!!! |

Don't Pass Up This FREE Opportunity! |
| Chamber members, Diane & Fred Lovine (Beantown Shiners) are piloting a new program "bizleadgen" to help local businesses generate more qualified sales leads. The program is specifically designed for service companies that serve several towns, such as cleaners, painters, electricians, lawyers, doctors, any business really that relies on prospects calling in.
They are just getting up and running and are offering FREE services to Wilmington Chamber Businesses for the remainder of the year. This will help them work out any kinks before going live on a larger scale in January 2010 and hopefully help you increase sales.
How does it work? They will have a quick conversation with you to find out what services you provide and what towns you serve. Then they will create a website with hundreds of pages that are designed to be where your prospects are looking, such as the front page of Google or Yahoo searches. Prospects then call or email you directly.
